The ob体育试玩 community welcomes and affirms the rights of its students, faculty and staff to live, work and study in an environment free of discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX") prohibits discrimination based on sex in the education programs and activities of an institution which receives federal financial assistance. As a recipient of federal financial assistance, ob体育试玩 is required to adhere to Title IX requirements.
Title IX protects faculty, staff students against unlawful acts of sexual misconduct, including sexual violence, sexual harassment, sexual exploitation, intimate partner violence, dating violence, bullying (including cyberbullying) and stalking. Taken together, these acts are termed sexual misconduct. The University prohibits retaliation for advocating for a right protected under Title IX.
ob体育试玩* does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in its education programs and activities, including in admissions and employment, as required by Title IX, its regulations, and other federal and state laws. ob体育试玩 is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful learning, living, and working environment for all members of the ob体育试玩 community free from sex discrimination, including sex-based harassment, as defined in this Title IX Policy (the “Policy”). ob体育试玩 will respond to reports of sex discrimination and will take prompt action to eliminate such conduct, prevent its recurrence, and remedy any adverse effects in ob体育试玩’s education programs and activities, including, as appropriate, by way of the Grievance Procedures outlined below.
Violations of this Policy may be subject to disciplinary sanctions, up to and including termination of any relationship with ob体育试玩, withdrawal of any privilege to enter upon ob体育试玩 property, and/or limitation of any participation in ob体育试玩-sanctioned or supported activities and events.
